Here at John Knox Presbyterian Church, we strive to build a vibrant youth ministry through fellowship, outreach, and uplifting Biblical teachings. The first aspect of fellowship is crucial to all youth programs. We are encouraging the youth to build meaningful friendships with "one another." The Bible declares that we should share with "one another": encouragement, love, devotion, honor, acceptance, instruction, greetings, servanthood, submission, kindness, compassion, forgiveness, etc.
Secondly, we commit time to be a blessing toward our church, community, and beyond. The youth have cleaned at the church, wrapped gifts for members, assisted with children's events, volunteered at the Total Living Center, participated in fundraisers with the proceeds going toward Adopt-A-Family, served on mission trips, etc.
A final part of this ministry is providing the youth with a strong Biblical foundation. The youth receive Teen Study Bibles which they are asked to bring every Sunday to worship. The youth are actively engaged in Bible teachings that help them connect with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
