For the 2009 mission trip, the youth and Ryan traveled to Charlotte, North
Carolina. We stayed at Quail Hollow Presbyterian Church for six days.
We served at five different ministry sites that included Love Inc.,
Samaritan's Feet, Shining Hope Farms, St. Andrews Outreach Dinner,
and Second Harvest Food Bank. I was extremely pleased and impressed
with the way the youth worked and served others. We understood that
we were not only working for people, but more importantly, the Lord!
Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
