YOUTH SUMMER MISSION WEEK
The youth embarked on a local mission trip
which proved to be a great time!
The theme for the week was journeying with God. We learned about
different people in the Bible such as
Noah, Moses, Jonah, and the
Apostle Paul who had successful journeys with God because they persevered
and did not
give up when times got tough. The youth memorized a key principle from
each Bible story that
will help them on their personal walks with Christ.
Our mission week also included service projects at various
places in the
community, educational opportunities at P. Graham Dunn Woodworking, Wilderness
Center,
Butterfly Exhibit, and Cleveland Zoo, and fun and fellowship that included
a swimming party at the Frank household,
as well as, boating, swimming, and a
cookout at Craftman Park!
I appreciate the help and leadership from Denny and
Allison Printz, Joe and Vicki Vinci, Sandy Langley,
and Ted Hall, as well as,
the prayers and financial support of our congregation.
This was a great week
for all those who attended.
Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
